- Remember that enthusiasm is contagious. If you’re not excited about your topic, your learners won’t be either. Be energetic, and use humor and great visuals.
- Create links to reality. Work on real projects or solve actual problems. Coming up with resolutions will give learners a direct connection and make them more engaged in the training.
- Introduce exercises that bring the subject to life. Before, during, and after the session, take time out for an activity that will break the ice, re-energize the group after a long intermission, and reiterate key points from the training.
