During its January meeting, the RI Board of Directors recognized the Food Plant Solutions Rotarian Action Group. The group’s mission isto offer a sustainable solution for hunger and malnutrition by helping people learn about and grow local foods that match their nutritional needs. “Nutritional food, when given to children over a reasonable period, aids in growth of intelligence and energy, which in turn leads to self-sufficiency,” the group says. It is currently establishing projects in the Pacific, the Caribbean, and Africa. Learn more.
