  1. I downloaded the attached document from the blogsite and would like to get more details on some of these items as it becomes available. Of particular interest would be items: 1-3, 5, 9, 11 and 13-15.

    Thanks for your help.

    Yours in Rotary Service,

  2. Ron,

    The January 2011 Minutes of the Board are online. Click here. Some of the information is discussed in these minutes. You will have to pick through it, and some is on attachments.

    The June 2011 Minutes will not be posted for about 60 days. You can check here for updates to the posted minutes.

    Of course, you can always stay tuned to Rotary Resources, as we try to keep you update don as much as we can, as it comes out.

  3. Thank you for the update;
    I have a question:
    Is Vietnam one of the possible extension countries; I have a District club that would like to know
    Thank you

  4. Yes, Terry, Vietnam was on the list according to the webinar. It has been a "special extension area" since 1995 according to an article in the Nov. 2003 Rotarian. It was opened up for extension by the Board in 2006 (Feb 2006 Minutes). Clubs in Vietnam would be in Rotary District 3350. (Home of the RI Convention next year). A search of that district's site does not reveal any helpful information on this, although my Thai is a little weak. There is a special website for Rotary projects in Vietnam: http://www.rotaryprojectsvietnam.org/

    For more information about these efforts, my fellow RC in Thailand, PDG.Dr.Saowalak Rattanavich, may be able to assist. She has her hands on the pulse of what is going on in that area. s_rattanavich@hotmail.com

    I hope this helps you get started.
