Reach out to Younger Generations

image from YA
Engage young people with short-term projects. Build relationships. Explain the “why” of Rotary by appealing to a sense of global responsibility and a desire to take action. Serve as mentors and provide networking opportunities. These are just a few key ideas for reaching out to younger generations presented by author, entrepreneur, and young Rotarian Michael McQueen at the 2011 RI Convention.

McQueen says that the next generation represents an exciting opportunity for Rotary. Learn more about connecting with Generation Y in an interview with Michael McQueen, or join fellow Rotarians in a conversation about making Rotary relevant to young members on LinkedIn.
